I'm sorry if this is kind of pointless, but I'm in a dilemma.

Either I pay 50 euros and get Portal 2 NOW or pay 42 euros and wait for next week. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO this is ridiculously not important and so annoying.

What would you do?

EDIT: I found a website selling it for 38 euros now so I got it :D yay internet

I'd wait, but I'm honestly not even all that interested in Portal 2, so if it were me, I'd probably wait for the price to drop even lower.

You have to ask yourself what could you do with that 8 Euros you saved?

For me, that would just about cover the bus fare to and from town to pick up the game, and perhaps a cup of coffee or a sandwich while I was there, so if it was me I would justify it (getting the game now for 50 Euros) by walking to town and back instead of getting the bus and not getting any lunch while I was there.

8 Euros isn't really a lot of money and is easily saved in other ways, so if you really want the game now then get it now, since if it's as good and as addictive as fans say it is, then you'll probably save at least 8 Euros this week by playing it and not going out to do other things.

Just think- how likely is it that by the time you get the game, that you will already have learned half the game through spoilers?

... Ok, well I don't like it when people spoil the story in a game. And the escapist seems to be good about this sort of thing, but I wouldn't put it past some people to just shout out some of the stuff about it. And you could probably avoid those posts easy enough.

So not an answer, just food for thought.

I'm waiting until someone converts these fancy numbers into USD for my puny American brain XD
OT: I'm waiting until it hits the bargain bin, baby! That's how I get all my games. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to finish up Spider Man: Web Of Shadows

It's about a $10 saving. ~$71 now, or ~$60 later. Google (or UCC) is your friend.

Ha, well I was joking about that, but I would like to know why they get charged so much in Europe, it's highway robbery.

The American economy is down the drain, the European isn't.

We get away comparatively lightly. Now, the Aussies can tell you a thing or two about robbery.

And that wasn't even a convict gag. :p

I'm sure there're plenty of folks in Greece, Ireland and Portugal who would disagree.
