Well, I've turned 16 today, and just got my G1.

I wanted to thank the members of PRIATE, and various other members that I PM'ed ahead of the time to organize the event that took place today on the forums. I would also like to thank the Avatar store, owned by SleekGiant for their excellent support, in the making of the avatars.


This event was a happy little event that I organized (with help from Lambi, Furburt, and Lord Cuthberton). It was to commemorate the 16th year I've been on this planet, and to spread the cheer throughout the forums.

As the day wanes, the avatars shallst be reverted to their normal avatars. I appreciate all of whom that participated, and did not give any explanations for the event when it was going on. Many laughs were had and I'd like to thank all of the escapists that were being a good sport of the matter.

With that out of the way, lets get an actual discussion going here.

Have you ever done anything special to celebrate an event? Whether it be birthdays, to a memorial, or to honor something. If so, please share what it is you did.

Most events that I celebrate involve too mucch alcohol, so, even though I'm 19, I struggle to remember the past few. You probably shouldn't do that; to be honest I regret it.

The Escapist TF2 Group held a surprise party for SnakeF on the Escapist servers, we had a cease fire and circled him and everyone sang happy birthday down the mics.

The manliness of the event crashed the server, so we showed him the custom sprays we had made him when it came back up.

Some of them had cake.
