Is the ALL-CAPS title really necessary? On top of that, the title doesn't really say anything about the thread.

That being said, I'd have to go for Bruma. I never actually bought the house there; I bought the one in the Imperial City because I didn't want to waste money on a house that has nothing more than decorative value. Despite that, I always thought Bruma was the more pleasant place, despite almost being annihilated by the Siege Crawler. It's cold, sure, but I liked the art style, and it seemed like the place that I'd be most happy to live in, if it were a real city.

Off-topic: I just realised what the thread title reminded me of: O'Malley from Red vs. Blue.

And you shall all taste oblivion! Which tastes just like Red Bull! Which is disgusting!

Cheydinhal had the best house in the game if I remember correctly, hence I shall reside there.

Wow...somebody has been having a nostalgia fit.

Personally, I don't stay in the cities or towns that often, I stay in the Aelyid(?) ruins. If I had to pick, I'd say Leyawin.

Bravil. Its the perfect town for me, with its perfect envirnoment for acrobats, but I've lived in them all at one point or another. My least favorite town is Chorrol.

I'd normally get the imperial city one to begin with, purely because it's the cheapest and therfore quickest way to stash the loot i didn't want to lug around.

But for my more "going the distance" characters I'd save like mad for skingrad, 'cos of all the bonus stuff you get there (hidden enchanted ring, servant, and I'm pretty sure it's the only one that got display cases).

I cant stand Bruma, and you'd have to be a headcase to pick some place like Bravil, but in my head Bruma and Bravil are so similar.

Now that I think about it more, Leyawin was always my favourite except for the Baron, he was a douche, really I hated that guy.

EDIT : Ah thats why I forgot Leyawin, its not in the POLL!!!

Bravil is the most interesting city for me, with all its dark corners and scumbags, like me =]
Leyawin/Chorrol come second for being pretty.

EDIT: This really makes me want to play oblivion XD But I MUST finish the Morrowind main quest first.

Cheydinhal, so many fond memories in the Dark Brotherhood
ooooh, I forgot about that. Yeah most of my evil characters ended up buying in Cheydinhal at one point or another.
