so what is your view on occult books and the like. As i was reading about the occult for research and saw a book on Amazon with reviews about people who had practised the rituals within them.
What's your view on this do you accept the occult etc. Have you ever done rituals or are interested in them?

that depends, some of them are a great read, i dont believe in any of it, but it can still be fun, if they tell them kinda like scifi but with ghosts and demons instead, i cant stand the ones that treat it like a religion or even worse propaganda (any book that has something along the lines of "OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE!!!").

when i was a kid i tried to do a ritual, not to contact satan or anything, i read a really cool short story about witches, and i thought that if i did the ritual i could get the spiderman action figure i wanted, i also tried prayer, four leaf clovers, begging my mom and everything else, i really fucking wanted that spiderman figure, i didnt get it, years later i bought it on ebay, being a adult rocks, i highly recommend it.

I knew someone who was a wiccan if that counts.

I don't see myself performing a ritual like that but as long as they aren't slaughtering live chickens or anything they can do and believe in what they want.

I've tried a few things witchcraft/occult-like, namely oiuja on many occasions.
Never worked. But people say you need an open mind and take it seriously and the like, and I'm a bit of a cynic when it comes to these things, so.. Go figure :p

I've read lots about it, for example Aleister Crowley and Thelma and other things he was into are really fun to read about. But just as with any paranormal stuff I don't believe any of it really. My views are far too rational, but I just suspend my disbelief because its fun to creep myself out reading stories about summoning spirits and whatnot.

So I could never really get into it and take it seriously as part of my life, but I'm glad they exist because it makes the world more interesting.

A wiccan is someone who follows Wicca, which is a religion of sorts based around witchcraft and nature. They do rituals and to some degree believe in the ability to do magic. A lot of the time the wiccans you'll come across are just 16 year old girls trying to be different and counter-cultural, though I'm sure there are plenty that are cool people.

its more than a action figure, its a symbol that i will never give up, that my mom is evil, its the most valuable thing i own, its the closest thing i have to a god, i pray to it by honouring my childhood dreams once in awhile, like having icecream for dinner or spending a entire day watching cartoons in my pyjamas, i still say being a adult rocks, but i also recommend getting your own childhood god.

interesting view on it, but try not to see your mom as evil, never know what she may of gone through in her life.

that was mostly a joke, seriously i dont think my mom is evil for not buying me a toy, we never really had any money growing up so its understandable, and she didn't know how much that toy meant to me since i acted the same way about getting to watch some more tv, my mother is actually a really nice woman, and i know she has been through some bad things.

Dude, you rock!! That could sell as a self-help book idea. Go make your millions now!!!
damn i like you, i have been rambling on this site for years and you are the first one to recognise my genius, here are some other great tips for a happy life, dont be afraid of self medication, seriously if a glass of wine or 12 snickers makes you happy, go for it man, dont live a life of regrets, if it feels good do it, and break the social norms, sure "normal" people dont yell, dance, sing or laugh loudly in public, but you know what these "normal" people do? they work at a place they hate, they stay in a marriage they hate because thats what you are supposed to do, they resent their kids, they eat healthy and do everything they can to seem normal yet different, and the only way they can express themselves is by buying stuff that millions of others by, stuff thats made and designed by people they dont know.

do what the hell you want, but always remember, you are not better than other people just because you are happier than them, and if burger king gets your order wrong, dont say "eh, good enough" demand what you asked for, just dont be a dick about it.

and send me all your money, it erhmm...it makes you happy and free and shit.
