Also I think Team Aqua is better than Team Magma.
Never understood this train of thought. There are a few really stupid teams in Pokemon (Team Flare "we want team Flare members to be happy") but Team Aqua are literally the most retarded of all. They want to expand the sea, no real reason why other than they just like the sea. No one will benefit from it, in fact it will be a huge issue. Less room for people and pokemon to live on and less access to raw materials. It is quite literally the stupidest motivation for a supposedly non joke villain that I've ever heard of.
Team Magma's motivations on the other hand make a lot more sense. They want more land, and more land means more living space, building, mining and pokemon habitat room. Hell I'd join team Magma if I lived in the pokemon world, I don't give two shits if the weather institute gets invaded and some crap meteorite gets stolen. If its for the benefit of every living thing that walks/crawls/slimes and flies in the sky then it is worth it. Its a down right noble cause. I get that there needs to be a balance between sea and land, but think about the pokemon world for a minute, all the games take place on tiny islands. I've been to car parks in America which are bigger than the Hoenn region, they need to quadruple that shit and get Groudon's lazy ass to work.
Team Aqua makes sense as a group of idiots you would want to stop I guess, but I find it hard to believe such a group of morons are organized enough to own submarines and a top secret base. Team Magma I heavily sympathise with, so I just have to tell myself that somehow they are wrong and they won't be able to control Groudons power.
I will admit though Team Aqua look a lot cooler than Team Magma. I'm only getting Omega Ruby because I like Groudon, and he is going to kick Kyogre's ass now that he has that ability which just stops water moves being used.
