I'd be excited just to get one message. A million? My brain would melt in ecstasy.

Here, have another message to make your day! My reaction is the same. Although, if I commented in a controversial thread (sexism and the like) I always get very nervous reading any messages.

I did get the 1000 posts badge this morning though, so I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one.

I got the 1000 post badge too. Not complaining, but they may want to add another 0 to the end of my post count so I can actually wear it around instead of hiding it in the basement like the family member no one wants to talk about.

I always get these weird spam messages promising to teach me things that will please women in bed (I have no idea why it thinks I want or need to know that, or why it thinks I'm stupid enough to believe it knows), so it would probably be just a bunch of those.

I got 5,001 messages in my inbox this morning. The top of my head almost blew off! Sadly, it was a system glitch. For a moment there I thought that maybe the world loved me. ;_;

Yeah, I got that one too yesterday.

I thought I'd pissed 5001 people off.

You're more of an optimist than I, if I see more than a couple of messages in my inbox I automatically assume I pissed a bunch of people off.

My friend joined the Injustice League group and forgot to turn of chat notifications, so when he came back he had 8,000 messages in his inbox. XD

I'd just ABANDON SHIIIIIP. Seriously, if I got a million messages all at once, I'd expect more to come my way soon and assume that my account had been compromised in some way, so I'd proceed to create a new account because there is NO WAY I'm going through ALL those messages.

OT: A million messages would probably make me... very confused, and very sad. Mostly because I actually chat with a few people on here via message, so I'd have to sort through all of those messages just in case one of them was actually from one of my Escapist pals and not just, y'know, spam messages sent to me from the hamsters after they gained the ability to use the messaging system. Or something.

For me, a million messages would be a bit too much to handle, really. I don't think I'd want to bother trying to fin out which ones are important or not, if any.

Probably abuse. I seem to get a lot of abuse from strange people with lots of problems.
I looked at my 'other' folder in my Facebook messages and found about 5 or 6 abusive unread messages from people I didn't know. They must have seen some posts I made or something and hated the fact everybody shares their opinion. Or someone who knows me must have told a few people "Emilee punches kittens and drowns babies! I have no proof but trust me she does!" and they've believed them then felt the need to send me a torrent of abuse about how they've never spoken to me before but know that I'm horrible.

My old email has been getting a lot of "Sasha is hot and ready to flirt!" emails which is worrying.
