It's so weird that after Yahtzee mentions that "The Cake is a Lie" is overused, so many people start making threads about it, when it was obvious that it was overused after one month of Portal being out, god, people, start thinking for yourself.

I actually wanted to vote for both jokes. Thankfully the "This is Sparta" joke has really died down. Unfortunately I still hear "the cake is a lie" a lot in TF2 (along with Mentlegen).

The Portal one, IMHO. I don't know why, but the Sparta one is quite versatile and can be applied to many situations. The Cake joke was really only funny in Portal, and that's where it was mostly relevant.

But still.... Sparta jokes FTW. Everytime you make a Sparta joke, Chuck Norris hugs a kitten.

i didnt really c the hilarity of the cake is a lie in the first place, n ive never seen 300 (god i suck...), so these jokes were old to me when they began.

i thought that sparta was more overused bc many tv shows parodied it, as did that meet the spartans movie.
