Poll: Oxford Comma

I'd say it depends on the situation, and the flow of the sentence. I'd rather have a good flow in my sentences, and have it easily read and understandable, than keeping every little rule locked in stone.

It's definitely "red, white and blue." The Oxford comma just looks silly.

In the Cambridge CAE course, they told us the Oxford comma is the correct one.

I stick to the first one but sometimes I feel like we should just get rid of that 'and' on the end and only use lists.
E.g. I went shopping and bought: some tea; some decaffinated coffee; some ordinary coffee; some milk; some demerara sugar.
