I think it's fascinating that most everybody has an opinion on them despite not actually having ever met one of PETA's members. On that note though, i'll reserve judgement, i'm all for prevention of animal cruelty, but by no means does that mean that i should give up steak. I'll wait and see. If i meet one and he's a dick, so be it, i met a dick. If the entire organization is that way, well, there's the real answer.

Fine, I disagree with wearing fur and with animal testing, and although I eat meat and firmly believe that if we weren't meant to eat meat then we wouldn't have canines or molars, I don't have a problem with vegetarianism. Very healthy lifestyle, although you still need to get some protein down you. But PETA? They're just too extreme. And having Mucca as a spokeswoman just doesn't help their credibility, in my view.

Yeah, while I am all for animals being treated nicely, i'd never throw blood onto a fasion model wearing fur.

As I've said before in other PETA themed threads, they make doing my job a fuck of a lot more difficult with their nonsensical rantings and stupid publicity stunts.
For people who supposedly care about animals, they make it a fucking challenge to work in animal welfare, as the general public tars us all with the same brush.
