Well I doubt that 97% of the animals they have were un-saveable. It's not considered evil by the vet because it's expected that they'll have to put down sick and dying animals. The fact is they don't have the resources to keep the animals. I thought that was logical enough. You know what pounds do to animals they can't find homes for? You know what all other groups that take in animals do? PETA is no different in this case. They are giving the animals the only humane way out. And before you complain that it isn't humane to kill it, then picture the condition they were with before. They had to be taken in for mostly illegal activities that the previous owners had caused such as torture or failure to nurture the animal, and so had to take them in. However they can't find homes for them all so what do they do? Release them into the wild and fuck up the order of things? Hurrah!QuirkyTambourine said:

There are butchers that can get meat from free range farms. Ones that do not have pigs in battery cages and the works.
