Ok, I am a pancake person myself but some of my friends like waffles, and many times we get into a stupid argument (those are the ones I hate if you saw my stupid argument thread) about which is better.

So we made a logical decision to ask around our school for which people liked. And out of the 113 people we asked, 56 prefered pancakes, and 54 prefered waffles, that is pretty much half with the exception of the 3 that said Wafcakes.

So I'm bringing the question online, which do you prefer, Pancakes or Waffles.

Damn tough decision.

I'm going pancakes, they rock, although waffles are awesome.

Finally, 'tis in the wrong forum, methinks, since this doesn't seem to be a discussion about games, unless you plan on linking pancakes with a certain meme...

Still, it's a good discussion, no criticsm there...

Yay for pancakes.

EDIT: My original comment was ninja'd whilst I was typing. The picture still stands though.

So in your little school poll, the results were:

Pancakes - 49.6%
Waffles - 47.8%
Wafcakes - 2.7%

(note results don't add up to 100% due to rounding up values)

Current results here:

Pancakes - 50.0%
Waffles - 35.0%
Wafcakes - 15.0%

Hence your Escapist poll results are significantly different (anyone else who does/did Statistics can confirm that, I can't be arsed to post the working out here) to the school poll. Interesting, since that suggests that despite first glance, tastes among Escapists and tastes among your schoolmates differ at a statistical 5% significance level. Which means that it's unlikely that your schoolmates are members of the Escapist and voted here.

Yeah, I just wanted to mess around a bit and I felt that being a statistics geek would be a fun way to alleviate revision boredom from my other modules. Especially since my Statistics exam was last week.

Anyway, on topic: I prefer pancakes.

UUUUH, yea, everyone at my school either doesn't like the escapist or doesn't know what it is

Totally waffles! Pancakes are too cumbersome IMO. Plus I like the texture of the waffle that allows the syrup to pool in little sqaure compartments.

is there even a comparison? You can't eat waffles without syrup, but pancakes are compatible AND stand-alone. Ah, the technology of the future!
