Poll: Paper Mario on 3ds

so, i'm watching the e3 stuff, come to the 3Ds video, and they're talking about the release of games on it... and they mention....paper mario...on a 3d system...isnt the point of paper mario to make something 2d even more 2d? how the fuck will this possibly be made 3d... also im adding a poll, to ask, will paper mario work in 3d?

Did you ever play Paper Mario? The characters are 2D on a 3D background.

3D could work with the environment, or to make Mario/others pop out of the screen. Or perhaps for obstacles in the game. If you ever played it, some of them shake when your near. That would work well in 3D.

To answer your question: No.

I'm guessing someone's only played Super Paper Mario and has forgotten about the 3D exploration of the first two games.
I don't think it'll work particularly well, but they might be able to make it more unintrusive.

I think it will be interesting.

The first two games were like Pop up Books in the way the Environment worked.
So 3D could add to that quite nicely.
