Think of it as a title. It depends on your post count; 0 posts gets you listed as an anonymous sources, 10 as a paperboy, and the list gos on. If you want to change it post more.

All of them are newspaper or reporting related: this comes from about 4 or so years ago back when The Escapist didn't even have a forum and just had the news section. This site has always had a strong affiliation with gaming news, hence the news related title.

It's worth noting that some people have special titles, but these can be hard to earn.

Gone Gonzo is like 1000. Some people get unique titles such as if they contribute to the escapist or they've done a news thing or something along those lines. Have a look around.

yea, what most people are saying It's an indication of post count everything above 1000 posts is Gone Gonzo and I only know one person who has gone over 9999 posts and that;s Indigo Dingo, and he got the Ban hammer for something stupid.
