"I always had this feeling that there was something going on in the universe, and no one would tell me what it was."

Most people get the "Everyone is after me" paranoia, you apear to be suffering from an unusual delusion similar to the fantasies stalkers have when they believe they are close to their target as friends.

Oh, and I have another one too.

When I'm listening to super loud music, I get really paranoid cause I think like my sister/mother or someone (don't worry, both my sister and mother are still alive, lol)is trying to call for me. But, of course, it's obviously just the loud music messing with my head. It's still freaky though. hehe.
That's like phantom phone call - when you think your phone is vibrating but it isnt anything at all *X-Files theme ensues*

By the way you're not alone. I used to get paranoid and think everyone was a demon of some kind and i've also had your version of paranoia aswell. Then I stopped smoking weed and I was a-ok. Also Descartes, the philosopher actually came up with that theory (matrix type thing) and subsequently came up with "I think therefore I am". It's alright anyway you're not alone :)
That's comforting to know :)

And it's kinda getting boring with all the people telling me to find a proffesional. Think about it. If I thought no-one was real, then why would I listen to the psych?

There should be a "no" option in this poll.

Anyway that would conflict with my beliefs. You know, the belief that everyone around you is a fuckbasket and you are the last bastion of sanity and intelligence. I'm sure that we've all had THAT feeling before.

Paranoia means "a mental condition characterized by delusions of persecution..." however it is actually normal to be a little paranoid now and again like looking over your shoulder on a walk at night (lolandrew4).
I personally often close my eyes while brushing my teeth and think that when I open them I will see someone or thing behind me in the mirror, but as I am writing this I know that that there is a 99.9999% chance that that will never happen.
However extreme paranoia that you have to look over your shoulder every three seconds or baracade yourself in your room thinking that someone is trying to kill you is something that should be analyzed by a professional. I wouldn't worry about your situation, you know it is paranoia, therefore you know it isn't real.

I think I'm turning into a psychologist, I hate psychologists.

I've thought about that but then I realized "You know, I'm happy. Who cares if I'm in some world I don't belong in? I'm home and I'm happy".

So yeah, I'm not too paranoid.

paranoia is a weapon of the man, to make those of us who know that they're after us LOOK crazy.

I voted WTF, but I'm not one to talk. When I was younger I had an irrational fear of zombies, it took killing them in Dead Rising and Left 4 Dead for me to get over it. Though my fear was way more justified, I mean a zombie could be around the next corner, at any time... MAYBE RIGHT NOW AAAAAAAAAGH!

Sometimes, I find my self in paranoia because I believe that I'm basically in the same situation the Matrix trilogy takes place in, and I'm being surrounded by intelligent computer programs that already know exactly what I'll do my entire life, and predict everything and they basically aren't real/alive.

Can anyone else relate to this? And what's your weirdest paranoia situation?

And before anyone starts calling me crazy, it only happens rarely, and I don't start going all berserk like 'BASTARD! STAY AWAAAYY!' or anything, I treat everyone normally and all that. I also always awaken from it and realize it was just paranoia and all that jazz.
I used to get this when I was younger, around 15-17, I always put it down to a weird hormonal thing, but I think most people get paranoid sometimes.

Sometimes, I think that if people could read minds, they'd think I was weird, so I start to try and think normal, everyday thoughts for a bit. Just in case.

Also, I'm unsure why I'm worried about the imaginary mind reading stalker thinking I'M weird, but whatever.

My girlfriend learned a while ago never to ask what I'm daydreaming about.

The point I'm trying (and failing) to make, is that all people are strange, paranoid freaks.
Blargle.
