Poll: PAX East 2011 - Attending?

PAX East is right around the corner. I myself am leaving tomorrow, what about you guys? Any other Escapists planning on attending?

Nope, wish I could, but there's no way I could travel from New York to Boston for something like that. If I did though, I would be sure to wear as much New York Yankees merchandise as possible.

Ha, I'd love to see someone do that! A few friends and I are traveling all the way from Nova Scotia, Canada. It's an 11 hour drive, but was totally worth it.

That it is.. Being the arse end of the planet doesn't do us any favours. We need to rally the troops, so to speak, to bring amazing events down this way. The only reason they don't is that there isn't enough money to do so.

Nor enough people here to really ensure a properly good attendance. For such a big place, we have a pretty pathetic population.

Scale the event down. It works for musicians (not necessarily pop stars doing stadium tours, but lesser know stars, like Emilie Autumn). It's not that it isn't viable. It would just be smaller and have less profit.
