No. Never.
First-Person Shooters shouldn't be pay-to-play services. It's as simple as that; a pay-to-play FPS would attract fewer sales than a free one, even if the pay-to-play was superior. Simply because FPS-players (in my observations) tend to jump from game to game, rather than stick with one for long periods of time. Therefore, they would have to be paying for multiple games.
Screw that.
