It's funny. You would think after countless amounts of locked Versus Threads, and the overall Flame Wars effect, PEOPLE WOULD STOP TRYING TO START IT! (Theres a hint in there OP, try and find it)

I tend to choose consoles because I'm used to the controller more than a mouse/keyboard setup and I know that I can play the game straight out of the box without having to worry about specifications.

because it's made by the same creator. they're just about the same. So it's kinda of a hard choice. I'd go with the PC you can do a lot more.

I would chose PC, but voice chat over computers is always a pain, and I already have a group of friends with which I can pick up and play games on my 360, whereas I'm likely to get involved in irritating communities with PC games just so I can play with someone.

Pros of PC:
-great graphics
-many games
-full internet
-control mapping to keyboard is more customizable
-more powerful

Cons of PC:
-only one player per unit, no matter what game
-having to update every so often
-cost of upgrades
-cost of a decent gaming system
-many problems can occur (like viruses)
-complex
-becoming an ass because you think PC is the best for EVERY reason

Pros of 360:
-great graphics
-many games
-internet (for online gaming and DLC, along with netflix, etc.)
-controller is easy to use and master
-powrful enough to handle 99.999999999999% of the games out there (that's more than enough)
-multiple player per unit (up to 4)
-fast updates that come to you when out
-cheaper than PC
-simple

Cons of 360:
-internet is limited use
-controller has less buttons than a keyboard and mouse
-RROD (never happened to me and I got one when it was released)/ROD on the game disc if you're careless
-having to deal with the PC asses when each system has it's own advantages and disadvantages

I'm sticking with my 360 and PS3 over any PC, it's more fun with more people anyways. Watching people play a game sucks when you're a friend visiting, why not play along with your friends?

i tend to get games for my 360 that i think will be better for co-op like left 4 dead as the voice communication is better on a 360 then pc.... but i will always go for pc if i know there is going to be a great modding community like for fallout 3

Not a bad roundup rockingnic, but you forgot the single most important (IMO) factor, that should never be forgotten/discounted but it invariably is: personal preference. One person's "easy to master" might be another person's "why must my thumbs do everything?", and one person's "mods are awesome!" is another person's "mods, why would I want mods?"

Me, I voted "Sometimes", 'cause my preference for FPS is PC (can't for the life of me get the hang of aiming with a thumbstick; my eyes/brain/nerves/thumbs just don't work like that) but my preference for brawlers is 360 (melee-style games just "feel" better to me with a controller than with a mouse).

pc in general... but if you play jrpgs or racing games, you would an xbox wired controller for the pc, o for some games xbox reigns supreme.

but imagine an fps on an xbox, i've tried it, it's as bad as they say it is...
