A recent thread was about sexual fetishes that people are not turned on by. This started the wheels in my head and I realized I to this day do not really enjoy "hardcore" pornography. By hardcore, I'm referring to images of erect male penises, acts of sexual penetration, and bodily fluids. I don't like it. Whenever I see hardcore porn, it always grosses me out. Yes, I am male. Male/female sex with penetration shots just strikes me as gross. Don't get me wrong, I love all manner of pornography, like lesbians, exhibitionism, basic nudes, nudism, and maybe even a little bit of erotic fiction (no pictures). I just think penises are boring to look at, not to mention off putting. This isn't homophobia, necessarily, just visual preference. I don't even like it when women use penis shaped sex toys.

Seems like whenever I turn google safe search off when I'm looking for random nude photos of random celebrities, there's always a surprise shot of some stranger performing oral sex on a man. It's an immediate turnoff, even if I don't enlarge the thumbnail. When I was a teenager I just assumed it was something I would grow into, but now I'm headed for my mid 20s. I feel even less aroused at the idea and act of a man and woman having sex, since the internet can provide me with thousands of more preferable alternatives. I'm also a virgin, but I really doubt if I had sex tomorrow, I would have magically altered sexual preferences. Why should I be really be turned on by someone else experiencing pleasure?

It's probably the latter, in that I don't care for dicks. I don't believe I've ever had a jealous streak of "I'm mad because that girl I like likes some other guy." Back when late night cable was my only option, I didn't have too much of a problem with softcore sex scenes. They weren't preferred when the guy got in the way of my view of the lady, but I watched them. It's not even the male aspect that's even the problem. I can dig lesbian porn when (pardon the term) butch women are with feminine women. It's that one part that's always a turn off, which is important, since it's often the main defining feature of most hardcore porn. Why heterosexual men are turned on by watching another male receive oral sex, I'll never fully understand.

I prefer my porn to contain as little penis as possible. All that circle jerking and bukkake and stuff just turns me off.
But by your defenition of hardcore, that the porn contains penetration, I'd say I enjoy that, yes.

I don't normally enjoy the heavier stuff, prefer some pretty vanilla stuff, but penetration can be nice.

Edit: I really don't enjoy it when the man has oral sex performed on him though. What the hell? I didn't come here to watch some guy's penis and perhaps the head of a woman.
I want to watch the woman, and see what's going on with her. I couldn't care less if the guy is enjoying himself: He's just a tool to provide the scenario. Many times, a toy can be preferable.

I'd say that counts as hardcore, since the brain is probably registering it as a "real" enough facsimile of a sex act. The stuff that turns me on in fantasy land (i.e. not real) is drastically different from things I would want to see in photos or video. However, my fantasy preferences still don't include explicit sex. (Strangely enough, I didn't make up these rules for myself. You really can't pick what you like.)
