Maybe you should get a pet search bar?
D'aw, that'd be so cute. Where can I get one?

Sadly no pets atm, my last guinea pig was put to sleep a couple of weeks ago. As soon as I have my own place I'm getting a dog though.

Well, I had a dog a few years ago, a Dobermann Pinscher called Zak. Died when his back legs suddenly went, we had to have him put down because there was only a 20% chance an operation could fix them and even then he'd suffer the rest of his life. He was an old dog though, but it was still a shame. The next dog we had, another Dobermann, was too vicious and tried to bite us all (we got him from a dog's home), so he had to be put down too. The dog we've got now is about nine months old, born late last October, yet another Dobermann. His name is Olly and he's pretty mad, barks quite a bit but doesn't bite much. He basically likes to play a lot so when we don't play he'll jump up and try to bite our hands to drag us to his toys or drag our hands down for a tummy rub :). He's also got a lovely long waggy tail and long floppy ears and he's a brilliant chocolate brown colour, instead of the more common black and brown.

Yep, we like Dobermen. They get such a bad rep because some idiots, especially on UK council estates, like to walk around with Dobermen on chains whose ears are pinned up and whose tails have been docked and try to look hard. Plus they can be vicious if mistreated, but then, so can any dog. Olly and Zak are and were basically fun-loving crazy dogs but they're definitely not vicious, which people seem to mistake Dobermen for being bad dogs. That's something I've always hated, people assuming a dog is vicious because it's a particular breed. You can get really nice, lovely rottweilers or bulldogs or pitbull terriers, and really vicious dogs like Jack Russell terriers or labradors. It's not down to the breed, it's the way the dog is treated that decides if it'll be a good dog or a vicious dog.

Dogs are great, but you need to be careful and need to make sure they're handled properly. Dogs require a lot of attention and need to be trained so they don't cause problems for you, and you need to make sure he/she knows that you're the head of the house and not the other way around. Can I recommend that you go to a reputable breeder and buy a puppy, rather than getting a dog from a dog's home, as they're easier to train and, as I found out, dogs from a home have a risk of being vicious. The dog we have now is a lovely hound, we had him as a puppy last year, whereas the dog before him we got from a dog's home and he was extremely vicious. We ended up having to have him put down in the end because he was so bad. Another thing, I also recommend you watch shows like The Dog Whisperer and It's Me or the Dog, as they have very useful tips and guidance for raising a dog.

EDIT: Ooops, double post, apologies.

I wish it was legal, cause I would totally want a squirrel as a pet =D But they are wildlife, so its illegal to own one. And even nursing a baby that fell out of a tree to health, is actually the wrong move :( You have to give them to a wild life rehab person so they squirrel will still be wild and not tame when it grows up. A tame squirrel getting released into the wild is like taking a NYC boy and dropping him in the middle of a deep dark woods.

So I have a cat ;/

i have a cat and 2 goldfish.

the cat is about 14 now, but it still seems to hunt a lot. i would have thought that it would have stopped hunting much earlier.

then again, it was a stray originally a stray, so hunting was originally more important to it then it is now.

Three dogs: one Black Labrador and two Jack Russells. The former - lovely, docile and obedient. The latters - lovely, docile and obedient, when it suits them.
