I hate myself in pictures. I can't seem to take one without looking like i'm either going to kill the person taking it or looking like something thought up by Lovecraft.

Ha, this thread makes me chuckle.

Anyway, it seems that sometimes I look fantastic in photos, and at others I look more hideous than I could have imagined possible. It works out about 50/50.

By the bye, two other things - firstly, it seems your photographs are set to private; secondly, do you think it's wise to put your Facebook page on this site for all to see?

I don't give a fuck, I useally use my first name as a username (Marcus). I dunno why people are so scared of this stuff. (the only private ones are ones taken at college in in that "user group" to protect from prying bosses who arn't friends etc) <-- I think thats the reason, all party photos go in there too, so I guess that is the reason.

I hate the way I look in photos thanks to low self-esteem, others think I'm hot. I am indifferent to my photos now :/

Christ no. Whether its natural, posed, some god awful state inbetween its all just terrible. I am in the middle of an ongoing mission to destroy all photos of me on the internet.

Hell, whenever I see a picture of my self I fall into a spiral of self loathing that lasts a day at the least.

I good way to get over the fear of dislikeing your photo's is to post your best ones up , come on.

The problem is with my friends cameras seem to only seem to come out when there is lots of alcohol involved. The result is that the cameraman or women is drunk and the people (sometimes me) in the photos are drunk making for some very unflattering photos.

I don't think I'm particularly un-photogenic, but the world sure works against my favour.

Sometimes. See my photo in my profile? I made that on a whim, just quickly without posing or anything. I was delightfully surprised how good it turned out to look. Sure it's not perfect (as my head bends towards the camera, my neck looks fatter than it is because it's bend) but it's pretty charismatic, if I may say so myself.

On other, more posed occasions like family pictures, not so good.
