Human augmentation is already a reality; with strength-enhancing exoskeletons and blind people (re)gaining some rudimentairy sight via visual prosthesis. Also, this year was the tenth annivesary of Deus Ex and the new Deus Ex: Human Revolution showed up at E3.
So, if the technology would ever be perfected as such that there are no health risks in augmenting a human body in whatever way, would you take any augmentations? Why, or why not?
I'd probably go for some visual augmentations: higher resolution; zoom function; infra-red, ultra-violet, x-ray and low-light vision. Also, I think I would have my lungs modified to function like avian lungs, if that's possible. They are far more effective than a mammal's lung
