i personally like Picard better, he's more of an intellectual, which i can relate to better than a horny guy who constantly rips off his shirt

You dare compare anything to the Shat-man? Kirk is far better than Picard.

I mean, he made Star Trek what it is today. Without him talking. kind of. like. this, we wouldn't have Star Trek anymore. What did Picard do? Destroy my childhood dreams of Vulcans and logical circumstances.

... I like Leonard Nimoy the best.

I vote for Picard. I'm biased, since I grew up watching him and his bald head managing to talk down just about any hostile alien in the series, but I think he brought an amazing sense of elegance, class, and diplomacy to Star Trek.

The basic main difference between the two:

Kirk: You have till the count of 10 to give me what I want, or I'll shoot you. 1.....2......FIRE!

Picard: You have till the count of 10 to give me what I want, or I'll shoot you. 1......2......I mean it.......3.......Last chance.......4........Can't we talk this out?

Now, which one seems more Starfleet to you?

Pretty much this. I liked Kirk but at times he was reckless when it wasn't really needed.

First off, I have never and will never watch Star Trek. It doesn't interest me.

That being said, Picard. Why you ask? He has a song. The Picard Song. Search for it on Youtube or wherever, but he has a song. Does Kirk have a song? No, he does not. Picard wins.

Picard. I grew up with TNG, and Patrick Stewart just...I dunno. He seemed more competent and fatherly, almost.
