My summer has gone on for too long now. I messed up University (long story) so now I have started job hunting. Then perhaps college in the future.

Starting uni in just over 2 weeks, completely ready for it, got all my equipment and everything ready. Going to start studying C++ so I get ahead before I start. Gorge out on Parkour training before I start because I know I'm not going to be able to train as much as I have been these holidays once I start uni. Don't play games that much and have kind of gone off them so I'm saving quite alot of money now, which is always good:D

In a nutshell, I too will be very much busy, fun times.

Know how you feel mate. But dropping out of Uni's not the end of the world (trust me).

Short term plans: get out to British Colombia for a few months next year, also sort out my pump track technique.

Long term plans: Earn more money from less work, buy a house, buy another one in Canada, get a dual nationality passport, the great British economy is helping me a great deal here. Hooray recessions!

Have an interesting job that feeds/is my main hobby. So right now I concentrate on entertaining myself, expanding my social life (ie: those skills that I neglected in high school) and consider how to further educate myself.

I've just enrolled at college & am starting a foundation degree in Games Design & Development.

Finally I'm putting my money where my mouth is & am doing something which will lead to me getting a job in the industry, rather than getting annoyed & disillusioned when playing a new game, thinking things like "If I was making this game I would change this & make this part better".

It's a very new course & I'm excited about starting it. We have an academic partnership with Microsoft (lots of free 360's & software like Xna to work with) & the course leaders have been constantly consulting with game companies, like EA, Lionhead, Bungie, Rare, Blizzard, when designing the course, asking them what skills they need in an employee, what parts of the course to keep, drop, change or emphasise.

I think it's one of the best courses in the country for someone like me, who want to get into the games industry.

ummm, revision. every A2 course I'm doing has turned out to be the top four hardest so we're having progress tests soon which will decide if I stay on the course or not. if I fail then basically I have to do an extra 1 year pre med course.
