Okay so I figured it might be a good idea to share an interesting discovery with the community of the escapist:
When you play videogames you don't use your legs. So, why not work out while your playing them? I've been doing this since I was about ten. I started out playing Jak and Daxter on the trampoline. I felt it was more fun to jump up and down when I was playing a videogame about jumping up and down. Anyway now adays I'm in really good shape because I play videogames on the elliptical as well as on a stationary bike. Every time I die I do twenty push ups, twenty sit ups and twenty curls with 30 pound weights. I feel that not only is this good for you, but it's also a lot more fun. Just felt I'd share this information.
Shorter version:
Play videogames on an elliptical

Why not just play Wii-sports a while every day?

I try to be as blobish as possible when playing games. Makes me feel like a true gamer.

Because that's what the wii is for *zing* (Just kidding).
Because I have astma.

Off topic: When are the portal jokes going to end?

The wii doesn't really give you a solid work out though, I burn roughly 2000 calories a day working out.

Edit: sorry if I sounded like a troll there, natal, and the wii are both better than nothing.

Nope. I work out a lot. I mean a lot

I would not want to do this during my relaxation time.

It's a personality thing, I have a problem with wasting time, which is part of the reason why I do it.

And that's fine. But I have Basketball practice twice a day (before and after school) then I usually go to the gym to work out almost everyday.

So I get plenty of exercise, and do not want to do it when I'm relaxing at home

Heh... doing push ups and the like when I die?
I actually kinda like that idea.
Although probably with time I'd just get a lot better at video games so I wouldn't have to do them :D

I play games on the hardest difficulty so that I get to do more push ups, it adds additional tension to the game.

Well what I'm getting at is that it can sometimes enhance the gaming experience.

Play through Modern Warfare on highest difficulty.
By the time you finish, your arms will beg for mercy.

I keep them separate. I really don't like doing anything but listen to music while working out I wouldn't enjoy the game nearly as much. Then again I don't have any exercise equipment. I ride my bike for cardio and just lift dumbbells otherwise.

I try to work out while playing, but usually I get a little too "in the zone", and completely forget that I was powerlifting 525 lbs. while schooling you suckers on MW2. Eat it!!!
But yeah I'll do some situps and stuff.
