Poll: Poll: Dark Messiah's combat system

Just curious to hear your opinions. The main reason is because of Dishonored, which is made by Arkane Studios who made Dark Messiah, since it looks like it shares the same combat system although tweaked for stealth gameplay.

As for me, I think it's one of the best systems out there because it's nice and fluid.

Interesting in concept but clumsy as all hell in execution.

Besides, all you had to know was the kick button.

Good point, and you have to admit, watching enemies ragdoll on stairs was priceless.

It's probably the best first person fantasy combat out there. It's fast paced, and nice and visceral. I have a hard time believing anyone could say a game has better first person fantasy combat than Dark Messiah.

Dark Messiah's first person melee combat is the best to date, it puts Oblivion's to shame, however, as good as it is, there is always room for improvement. Occasional bugs and glitches, as well as the unbalanced Mighty Boot Of Shit Kicking need to be addressed.
Would like to know which engine the game is built on, as that will factor heavily into the polish of the game.

By the way, Arkane is one of my favourite development houses, they innovate instead of replicate, so support them and help save gaming from the grey tasteless sludge it is becoming.
