Poll: Poll: Killzone 2: Keep or trade in?

I pre-ordered Killzone 2 from EB, which means it came with a swanky metal tin when I picked it up. I can appreciate the loving effort and advanced tech that has gone into making the game, but as it stands, I only got about a week or two's play out of it before I realised just how limited it is in terms of imagination (and how frustratingly awkward online play feels).

I paid full price for it, and feel bad about trading it in, especially when I know in my heart it's not a terrible game at all.

But with Red Dead Redemption coming out soon, and my desire to get my hands on God of War 3 and Just Cause 2, I'm thinking I might as well use it to cushion some of the finacial blow like I did with the copy of MGS4 that came with my PS3, (played it for an hour, hated it, then used it to get Assassins Creed 2).

With the $44 I already have stocked at EB games, another $40 would mean my next game would be bought for a pittance. But should I do it?

I made the most of my copy by getting the Platinum trophy, that took a good while to get so was worth my money. I then traded it in when I 100%'d it

I'd trade it in, it's very bland. Any of the options listed in your post are better and more replayable than Killzone 2.

EDIT: Except Red Dead Redemption, because I have no idea how good it will be.

Yes it is, but Taipan isn't trading MGS4 towards Red Dead, he alsready traded it towards AssCree2. He is now asking if he should trade Killzone 2 towards Red Dead.

Its a brilliant game, as is Metal Gear Solid 4, that doesn't mean YOU have to like it.
If you don't like a game... I see no point in keeping it.

My advice would be to keep it though, you may Learn to love it.

Given that I don't actually own a PS3 I don't know if Killzone is one of the games you can do this with, but I'd suggest installing the game to your hard drive and then trading it in, that way you still "have" the game and can trade it in for Red Dead Redemption.

If that doesn't work, you might as well trade it in. It sounds like you've gotten all of the enjoyment out of the game that you're going to.
