I will once it becomes cheap enough. I waited for quite a while before I got the original - and I'll wait quite a while for this one. Unless it has a LOT more content than the original. The original only had 4 maps...... which was worth drastically reduced price I paid for it.
If the sequel only has 4 maps, well, I'll be waiting for it to be discounted severely.
I don't understand why people are so angry about this: L4D1 did have free DLC. Valve never promised a bucket load of it, and they still have time to add more onto it if they want (although they probably won't). If you don't like it..... seriously - don't buy it.
I like games too, but to get so indignant over a....... video game...... is a little bit immature. Don't like it? Don't think it's worth it? Think valve is screwing you over (which people are entitled to think), then..... spend your money elsewhere. No one is holding a gun to your head demanding that you buy it. You do realize that, right? That you DON'T have to buy it? That, as a consumer in a free market society (as most of you probably are), you..... have..... a...... choice! Yeah.
So - if you don't like it. Don't buy it. Simple really. If enough gamers walk out on Valve that will make them reconsider things. But if enough gamers support Valve then they will continue. Paying for a game doesn't give anyone the right to demand Valve satisfy their every wish, or indeed, ANY WISH. Because when you pay for the game, you are buying...... the game! Nothing else. You aren't buying rights in Valve's company.
