And it helps to easily guage the populations opinions. But it's not particularly detailed.

Polls can be manipulated. The way people ask a question or lead into a question can directly affect the answer that people give.

Don't trust 'em. Why do I care what everyone else thinks anyway? Isn't what I think the most important part?

Anyway, it's okay. I like when the options on the poll are vague, that way people can elaborate. The problem is people don't usually elaborate and we get stuck with an unmarked opinion.
