Poll: Portal 2. console or PC.

What version are you guys getting, its available on steam now but i am buying the console version because then i can get a free copy of it on pc because i am on the PS3 and do co-op with my buddy in the same room on my two monitors. which are you guys getting?

Well, I only own a PC, so... no contest really.

BTW, curse Valve for choosing their launch day, I don't really have a chance to play it for several days starting today.

a french store sells it here for 42.5 euros, which is the cheapest I can find. gah so expensive.
by the way do you guys know if you can play offline splitscreen coop on the PC?

I was going to get it for PS3, but due to some complications I'm going to have to get it on Steam for the sake of time.

I bought the ps3 version so I have both on ps3 and pc ^^

Not necessarily. Someone might have a PS3 but not have a PC capable of playing Portal 2. In which case they're buying the PS3 version solely to play it on the PS3, yes?

Which is my situation. But your still getting both versions, just not using the other one. Like those PC/Mac hybrid discs.

Bought the PC version, but playing it on a Mac. Considering Valve considers PC and Mac as the same platform as every compatible game for one can be played on the other, they should be the same.

I don't own any consoles, and I've always been a PC gamer, so... I... Hmmm... I guess... Hmmm, now, I guess if I... I suppose I could... Perhaps I would... Play Portal 2... On... Hmmmm... P... C...? PC? Yeah, I reckon that'll work out well, provided I can get some funds together.

Oh btw, for your poll:

PC and mac Are always compatible, no matter which version you buy. Valve have released all their games cross platform between mac and PC so if you buy one you own the other.

PS3 + PC or PC. The xbox will not be the best platform as Microsoft requires DLC to cost money.
