I loved portal, It and Tf2 were the olny good things about the orange box and i trust valve not to remake a game just for 5 more bucks like EA, But im not really sure considering how hot it did i think some people are ganna throw it around the table.

Now if you ask me i dont think there should be because if you make something sequals ussualy ruin it, Portal had its shine it doesnt need any more, sure you guys can realease a map or 2 on xbox live just not a whole new game.

So what do you guys think about the topic, should there be Portal 2?

I tend to agree...maybe another pack of puzzles would be fitting. I figure if we need more story-wise progression, why don't they have GlaDos cameo in Half-Life 3 or something?

yes, affirmative, all right, amen, aye, beyond a doubt, by all means, certainly, definitely, even so, exactly, fine, gladly, good, good enough, granted, indubitably, just so, most assuredly, naturally, of course, okay, positively, precisely, sure thing, surely, true, undoubtedly, unquestionably, very well, willingly, without fail, yea, yep

I would prefer if they did not but they probably will, cant we leave it be let it remain a good original idea and move on to something more original?

I'm really looking forward to the inevitable sequel. Portal's a great standalone game, but when you start looking at the universe it takes place in and the storyline built around it, it leaves you wanting much more. What became of Black Mesa? How did Aperture Science survive the 7 Hours War? Has the war even happened yet?

Not to mention I've always wanted to try using a Portal Gun in conjunction with more traditional guns, since I don't have the PC version to mod my way to such fun.

Another puzzle pack would be nice, but not an entire game.
Anyway the next Half Life will have GlaDos won't it?

I say maybe, but if ONLY the original team does it, and it's not trying to be cheesy, unless the cake is replaced with cheese, well still no... I'd buy it if it was as good as the original.

It would be cool if a level editor was released for portal. An actual game with a plot... no

YES ME WANT MOAR POURTAL COS ME LIEK VALVE!!!*

*roughly translated from Valve Fanboy to english.

Okay seriously I loved Portal, the puzzles were both fun, unique and creative and I wanted to see more of it to be honest. Because once the game is done, it really is done. Because once you know how to get through it. I don't know if it could live up to the expectations though, I reckon just giving me an endless supply of Portal Puzzles would be a dream.
Although I have a negative opinion on the idea of Bioshock 2 given that it's a rushed sequel to a virtual masterpiece. So if they were going to make a Portal sequel please make it properly, though maybe just an extremly large number of expansion modules.

(please note the fanboy thing was ENTIERLY satirical.)

I'd love more mind-bending puzzles like Portal.

Not a sequel but a map pack would be great.
Your in luck. Portal: Still Alive is available for around 1200 MSP. It's just that.
