Poll: Portal Vs Portal 2

Hmm.
On the one hand, Portal 2 had less moments where I knew what I was supposed to do but had difficulty actually doing it, was longer and funnier, and had some creative uses of new concepts.
On the other, Portal 1 was this amazing, compact, unexpected little burst of originality that had less "hunt-the-sole-portalable-surface".

This is hard.

Y'know I actually thought the results would be close. For me I prefer Portal 2 over the original. The original Portal was a great game with a very refreshing approach to puzzle-solving and humour. However I prefer the sequel as I did find the first game very quick to complete and I really liked seeing an expanded vision of the game. Obviously the puzzles were less of a novelty but I really enjoyed the humour from GlaDos, Wheatley, and Cave Johnson, as well as getting a little backstory on Aperture Science.

Both are great games though.
