The first game I pre-ordered was Super Smash Bros Brawl back in 08 when I only had a shitty Wii. I don't really pre-order games unless they come with something physical or some really fantastic DLC.

Heres a chronological list:

Pokemon Platinum
Bioshock 2
Little Big Planet 2 CE
Dead Space 2

Fable III and Sims 3. Which both come out on the same night with Starwars Force Unleashed II and Rockband 3 here. The line at Gamestop that night is gonna suck.

Yeah I preorder alot
add Mafia 2 and you will basically have ordered every game coming out the rest of the year
Except LBP2 and GT5, which incidentally are the 2 games I have preordered!

Will probably preorder Agent, Metal Gear Solid: Rising and Twisted Metal when they get a release date as well tho.

I have only pre-ordered 2 games my entire life. Gears of War and Rock Band. Why don't I pre-order more often? Well, I don't really go to places like Gamestop that often. I find it pointless, especially when half the time I don't have enough money to get a game. That, and most of the time, nothing grabs my interest.

Now, I'm living in a place where games cost 100 dollars(not Australia). I don't even think the word pre-order exists here.

The only game I ever pre-ordered was Spiderman 3 for the Wii. (Yes, yes, I know it was shit.) Did it for the free poster. Personally, I see no point in pre ordering games. Gamestop has those benefits, which is fine I guess, but I see no point of paying who knows how much more for a small benefit.

I usually only pre-order games when they come with a nice bonus, like the action figure and poster that came with Prototype, or if I'm especially interested in the game, like Batman: Arkham Asylum or Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I still need to pre-order LittleBig Planet 2.

Currently I have Fallout NV and Two Worlds 2 preordered. Heck even got 2 Worlds paid off (stupid delay). And yes I played and thoroughly enjoyed the first. Even if the combat did need refining.

I never pre-order anything. I usually wait and shop around, looking for the lowest price after the game has been out for a month or so.

Pre-ordered Kayne and lynch 2, now that i think about it its the only game I've pre-ordered, oh except SS:HD the second encounter. It was easier to get it the same time I bought the first.

also halo odst but was kind of a letdown
I agree. There should have been more content in there. the story line length was about what i expected, but it seems as though there could have been more.

OT: I should pre-order reach, and the new zelda (wasn't paying attention to E3 so i didnt hear much about it) if it comes out. Oh and also ROCK BAND 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've only preordered 2 games in my life. Mass Effect 2 and Mafia II (second one came with the first game). Both were good choices (I'm judging Mafia II on the demo)

Only pre-ordered once, it was Guild Wars: Nightfall. The pre-order was cheap, guaranteed me a copy of the game (knew of very few stores that would get it here when it was coming out) and actually refunded me the price of the pre-order once I purchased it (the price of the purchase was game - pre-order price). Perhaps it's called something other than a pre-order I guess, but seems the same/similar concept :|
