Come to think of it,i haven't fought WW2 American and British soldier yet...in FPS and TPS i mean.
This raises a few questions.
It's not like I'm a neo-Nazi or west-hater or anything,i just wanna shoot the "good guys" once in a while, like in GTA when there are times that i just wanna shoot the cops.

...1940 GTA-ish game? anyone?

*edit Oh wait, there was Saboteur, but you still shoot Nazi.

Actually I was focusing more on the tacked-on "...in FPS and TPS I mean". It makes me wonder about how you pass the time when not playing video games.

I thought we were talking about the Ranger's favored enemy class feature.

Uh... in either case, orcs.

Loves me some orcblood.

Zerg players are my preferred enemies on Starcraft, but mainly because some of them are better mannered than other players and at least says "gg".

Also this person:

Also intelligent players that don't have massive egos/bots in shooters.

Oh that, beside playing Video games,i do what normal people do.read books, watch movies, pet pets and post in forums, etc. (also do household chores)

I specifically mentioned FPS and TPS,because i already fought the "good guys" in several RTS games.

*Oh wait,i forgot about Day of Defeat, but it's a multiplayer game.

You're sure you don't go around beating up war veterans?

I like blowing away aliens or robots. Maybe zombies. I prefer all of these over human enemies. (Not that I don't mind blowing away human enemies when they're being jerks.)

Serious Sam was pretty cool, in that you could blow away all sorts of different enemies away on the same screen.

Enemies I can connect to. It gives me all the more happiness knowing I instilled fear before I crushed them.

My favourite common enemies are ones that I breeze through without thinking.
My favourite mid-bosses are the funny yet difficult ones (example: the Turks or Palmer in FFVII).
My favourite bosses are ones that take serious effort to beat and often require multiple (though not many) attempts.

I trust the fact that nearly all Terran units do ridiculous splash damage to all lower tier Zerg units would have no part in your preference to face Zerg players?

Elites. Brutes almost killed Halo for me.
Halo 2 or Halo 3? Or ODST? Because the Brutes weren't very fun in the former, but they're okay in the latter two, I thought.

On topic: A cunning, vicious, equal. That's all.
In Halo 3 and ODST. Halo 2 I didn't mind them because they were like an entirely different class than elites. (Plus you still fought elites most of the time, anyway.) It was when they tried to make brutes REPLACE elites that pissed me off. They just don't have the same... how do I put this... nobility the elites do. Elites and brutes are very much exactly represented by their names. The elites are noble, cunning, tactful, and complex creatures, whereas the brutes are just gorillas with guns.
To add to this, elites were cunning and brutal. Brutes were just... brutal. They hit things until they stopped moving. Most of the terrifying elites would end up putting a blade in your back without you noticing that they were there.

That is one frightening lol face.

I tend to prefer to fight humans, I understand their anatomy somewhat more and I find them to be somewhat more predictable... I mean devs can destroy this with their lack of understanding in some situations but it's still what I go for most of the time.

I have 3 criteria for enemies in video games.

1) Many of them
2) They die in interesting ways
3) They charg at you en masse.

In other words, Left 4 dead Zombies.

Actually, only one unit, it would've preferable if said zerg players wouldn't "1a" their armies into a siege tank line and made use of the roach moving burrowed ability from time to time to get a surround. I have lost to zerg players that have been able to use some interesting strategies.
