No actually its a picture my sister drew of my friend's character in our Mass Effect tabletop campaign I run when I am home during the summer. Their personalities are similar enough though. When the first Grunt trailer came out my friend called me up claiming Bioware had put his character in ME2... I totally agreedG1eet said:Dear Fappy, I love that drawing of a Krogan (Grunt, I presume?).Fappy said:They are saying bad things about it because everyone is talking about it in general. Most the negative threads are posted by people who actually like the game. I loved it but its not perfect.
On topic- yea, some people feel a subconscious need to hate popular things. For instance, my friend started to hate DevilDriver by Pray for Villains just because they started to become more well-known. He still loves the old DD, but he just can't stand the new stuff.
Can't say I'm immune to it, though. I looked down my nose at people who got into Rise Against solely because of "Savior". I don't voice my opinion, though.
Probably the best drawing for a game I've seen since my friend drew Mario IRL.Fappy said:No actually its a picture my sister drew of my friend's character in our Mass Effect tabletop campaign I run when I am home during the summer. She's drawn all the player characters and currently working on the NPC's. Her salarian is pretty damn good too.
Its a homebrew deal. I basically butchered the Star Wars Sagas (d20 system) rules to fit the Mass Effect Universe. Starting the second campaign in May with the version 2.0 ruleset I finished last week. 37 pages of mandatory information assuming the players already understands basic d20 and such. If I have time I might eventually make a real, fully defined/explained rule set in like a PDF or something.G1eet said:Probably the best drawing for a game I've seen since my friend drew Mario IRL.Fappy said:No actually its a picture my sister drew of my friend's character in our Mass Effect tabletop campaign I run when I am home during the summer. And whaaat's this about tabletop Mass Effect? Is this a homemade deal, or did you buy a DnD-esque "board game"? That sounds like a blast.
