Wow, seriously not getting all the hate here, the Royal family are a great institution for this country, they don't do anything bad, only good things, and they give us something to get behind, as in i'd rather root for them than the sodding gormless, lying, cheating and useless politicians this country usually produces (Exculding Boris Johnson, Boris for PM!). And for all those having a go at Monarchies in general, we've been a Constitutional Monarchy since the 1700's and all it's done is make this country different and greater, giving us a living access to all our great history (A fact that all the European Constitutional Monarchies share) so so what!? stop whining you stuttering communists.

In a more positive vain : Congratulations to the Royal Couple, i'm thinking Victoria II would be great for a girl and for a boy, they've got plenty of options, but it'll likely be another Edward, William or Henry.

Im still shocked you people have a royal family .

EDIT: o yeah the name ???.. how about pustulio?

Heres an idea if you dont give a fuck, dont comment on a thread you dont give a fuck about. Otherwise someone like me might point out NO ONE IMPORANT GIVES A FUCK ABOUT YOU. Now if your reading this and your about to post your "I dont give a fuck" post, dont. This thread is about baby names if you dont give a fuck, go away go on another forum page find something you do give a fuck about, just dont waste your time here saying how you dont give a fuck about the royal baby because the baby doesnt give a shit about you.

Arthur for a boy, leoine for a girl.

Am I the only one who really, really, really wants the baby to be born gay?

I'm not going to be happy with just a little bicuriosity either. I want a gay monarch. I want gay marriage in the royal family. I want a royal King and Prince/Queen and Princess. I want an annual gay pride parade through the halls of Buckingham Palace.

I just feel it's time to shake things up a bit.
... that would be officially awesome, I need to start a government petition to have the Red in the Union flag changed to pink as well for our royal fabulousness..

Anyway, I was thinking Richard would be a nice name or maybe something a bit more Latin, Francis, peter, etc.

Or Ned, that might turn out badly for a royal family member...

Would be awesome to have a name a Scandinavian name such as Blue-tooth or Blood-axe, go all Viking on the monarchy.

I can't say I care what the baby is called, only that I support the royal family and I'm much more happy about giving them money then some of the people on Jeremy Kyle :)

And like someone said it would be quite interesting if the kid ended up gay, and I think the lack of shits people in England would give would surprise quite a few people.

I was always hoping they would call the baby Richard just so I could die under a king with the same name as me but I can't see that happening. The name isn't exactly popular anymore. If it's a girl then I guess Victoria or Diana. I would personally like to see her give birth to triplets just to see what happens.

Honestly could not possibly force myself to give a toss about the royal family.

They are, quite possibly, the most expensive tourist attraction we have. They serve no purpose other than being camera fodder to foreigners.

To be fair, the only good thing about the royals is Phillip .... and that's only because he's bat shit insane.

His full title is 'Phil the Greek'

And given that the baby will be in line for the throne one day, I propose a name that sounds so badass we can have our empire back through sheer menace:
"Zarvok the bringer of inevitable doom"

I don't

Gonna have to start ignoring the media for a while again

Anyway I think the baby should be called Karim

'Groan' More people fussing about monarchies and whether they like them or not.

OT, I don't really care. It's their baby, not mine, and as far as I'm concerned the naming of a baby is totally up to the parents. Even if the kid is going to be the center of a media storm (See Siri Cruise, among others.)

Hey I've nothing against them, good luck to the wee bambino, but the media coverage even here will do my head in. I think Poopfeast 420 is the only plausable name for the kid if he wants street cred.

Yeah, even as an Englishman I could not possibly give any less of a flying fuck about the royal family in general.
Regale me with speeches on being iconic and bringing tourism all you want, it doesn't change the fact that they're filthy rich and beloved nationwide purely because of the family they were born into.

[sub](Edit: Not that I've got anything against them, I just do not care at all, and the patriots among the people I know will take every single available opportunity they can get to ignore this fact. As will the freakin' TV.)[/sub]

Do you even think anyone outside the UK gives a shit?
In all fairness, most people inside the UK don't give a shit either. I'm English, and I for one don't see what all the fuss is about, pretty sure people have kids all the time.

Let me check to see if I live in the United Kingdom... Nope, don't care.

That said, I'd find it hilarious if they picked a particularly un-english sounding name.
