Print magazines. Do you buy them regularly? If you do which ones do you buy and why? If not why?

I myslef have a subscription to National Geographic but other magazines I buy are TopGear Australia and Motor. I buy them because I like the subject matter and I dont really liker eading off screens too much.

I have subscriptions to popular science and discover. I think discover should be called science magazine, and popular science should be called popular technology. Those names would be more apt.

No, if I see a magazine I like, I take it to a corner, skim read it, and walk out without buying it.

I recently got a subscription to Empire, and before that I bought it fairly often, so yes. You can get most of the reviews for free on the website, but you miss out on a lot of the more interesting articles and previews. I know people say print is dying, but I still prefer reading off paper than off a screen.

I used to get National Geographic, but it started to get boring. Lovely pictures, but not much else. Now, I buy New Scientist every now and then. Much more exciting.

Oh, and I always pick up a copy of Edge if I'm flying somewhere. Don't know why.

I have subscriptions to Popular Mechanics [http://www.popularmechanics.com/] and Popular Science [http://www.popsci.com/], I also regularly buy Shotgun News. [http://www.shotgunnews.com/]

I'm probably not going to renew my subscriptions to Popular Mechanics and Popular Science because it seems like every other issue is fixated upon 'GLOBAL WARMING ENVIRONMENTAL DOOM!' along with 'GREEN ENVIRO WONDER TECH!' and while there's nothing particularly WRONG with those topics it gets boring to read about over and over again.

EDIT:
Fixed a typo.
