Why wouldn't I want to be a burden to tax payers? It would be worth going to prison just for that.

Execution. If you can't do what you want to do in life, what's the point. Besides, I would be draining taxpayer money and I believe all life sentences should be replaced with executions so it would be hypocritical for me to say otherwise.

For you and all other people who use this arguement; you do realise it costs more to execute someone then it does to hold them in prison for the rest of their life? A lot of money goes into each trial, appeal and the entire process to try and make sure there are no fuck-ups.

Execution, even if one were to escape. Your life would be over essentially as the only means to earn money is by stealing. So unless you are extremely cunning in the sense to permanently change your identity and flee the Country, odds are you'll soon be right back from where you escaped.

This is because the country has a god awful understanding of capital punishment. China's approach is you have ten days to appeal, otherwise you are shot point blank; none of this lethal injection nonsense, and the family is given the bill for the bullet.

The amazing thing is despite the enormous difference in population China does not have even close to the US' crime rate.

Prison. In America, there's always chance for parole or pardons! Even if your sentence specifically says no chance for parole. Besides, some prisons aren't all that bad. After a while, you might even end up liking it.

It would depend on prison conditions. If i was considered to be dangerous enough to be kept well away from other inmates then Prison. But if i had to put up with general prison conditions, stuffed in with the scum, sharing a cell then Execution.

No I just get irritated by every one saying that going into the showers is certain rape its really really not. And yes rape is a huge deal. But it's not going to happen as certainly as everyone seems to think.

I know I'm being a parasite (got that from a thread), but this. A low crime rate is not worth a terrible government like China, since the government pretty much makes everyone's lives miserable.

But on topic, depends on the prison. I could probably make some friends and live well by prison standards.

It would really would depend on the experience of prison. Solitary confinement with books, half descent meals and descent amount of exercise time would be fine with me.

Locked in a cell with a fucking gorilla and I might prefer death.
