And this is definitely the year that DLC ruined every game released. They give you 40% of a game at best for full price, then will charge you for all the extras until you've paid at least three times over. Thankfully I see this as a trend that will fail to catch on. If games continue in this fashion I'll probably just quit gaming altogether, with no regrets.

There are so many nickpicking things I don't like about SR3 in comparison to SR2. It's not much of a sandbox when half of the content you were expecting from the first game has gone. I want to like the game so much, but can't bring myself to play it anymore.

What I think is likely is that THQ wanted the game rushed out and Volition aren't in a position to argue. Maybe DLC will fix my issues with the game, but I doubt it.
