Sucker Punch (they also created the Sly Cooper series) has never let me down, so I'm pretty hyped about this game.


p.s. Is there any news on weather it will have multiplayer or not?

Ah, you're thinking of inFamous. That's being made by Sucker Punch. Radical Entertainment is making Prototype.

Sorry, I was reading an artical with a few similar screenshots not to long ago. I must have gotten the two games confused.

As for this game; From what I've seen, prototype looks pretty great, I'll definitly have my eye on it for more details.

This game actually looks pretty good (and in my opinion we've had a recent trend of games crippling your character and making them unreasonably feeble in the name of 'challange' so having someone who's undoubtably overpowered would make a nice change of pace).

I'll probably get it when it comes out.

My only real problem with Prototype is you seem really overpowered, and it might make the game a little too easy.

*sigh* If you had read the other posts you would've known that in the videos they used god-mode to show the moves in the game.

I am definitely getting this game, it's gonna be awesome!

I understand that, but even without god-mode his powers still seem a little too powerful for basic enemies IMO

Just to note, you only start the game with parkour and your fists. You have to unlock all of the awesome stuff, which they show you in a quick tutorial. That is, they let you try a few powers in a quick tutorial, then it's fists and parkour until you unlock something.

Also, God mode is switched on to showcase the moves. I'm going to stop saying that now, for I am repeating myself like a broken record.

I haven't been particularly hyped about this game and haven't been following it very much but when I saw the preview in Game Informer I thought it looks pretty cool. I'll get it if it's good.

I agree that some of the powers seem really powerful, but that's because you earn them near the end of the game. You start with your fists and some parkour abilities.

Game looks cool. It's definitly on my "buy" list, but there are other things ahead of it, like Alpha Protocol, Mass Effect 2 (release date is soon), RE:5 (didn't like it at first, tried at a friend's house, I now love it).

In my opinion, staying exclusive severely limits the amount of money you're going to gain from making a game.

inFamous doesn't look epic to me, I mean, it looks like I'd play it, but I'm not buying a PS3 just for that.

Got to agree, inFamous sounded totally badass and sweet to me but then I watched the gameplay movies.. tzap.. tzzap...tzap... Like he's got a pocket tazer. Ooo, Ahhh.

There's a story. You have to absorb people to view their memories, so you can figure out why you're the way you are. That type of thing. There's missions and side-quests and such.
