Poll: PS3 or 360 Controller?

Recently I was having a futile argument between these two. So which do you prefer? As a disclaimer, NO FLAMING. Seriously though, why do you like the configuration of your choice controller better than the other?

I like the PS3 controller more than the 360's because it is more polished, has smoother triggers, and easier to reach buttons. The feel is just natural. The sticks being parallel to each other make it easier to reach the d-pad because your hand naturally flows to it when needed, you don't have to inconvenience yourself to reach it.

I find my fingers slip off the bottom of the triggers on the PS3 controller. But that might just be in part lack of practice

I feel that the Xbox 360 controller is more natural, but there isnt really much difference between them. I prefer the PC keyboard and mouse than either of them, but thats just me.

I love Playstationses, I've had my PS2 since waaaaaaaay back.


I like the 360's controller better, though, and that's what I have plugged into my computer.

EDIT: Actually the keyboard is better for pretty much everything that doesn't involve driving cars or precision platforming, though.

triggers feel more responsive, fits the shape of my hand better, analog sticks are easy to click while keeping them at the same angle, and it's way more important for the left analog stick to be in the most natural position than the d-pad (seriously, in most games there's never a reason to even touch the d-pad).

Also, the shoulder and face buttons in Playstation controllers don't really feel like they do anything. 360 controller buttons have a defined click to them for better tactile feedback.

360 controller definitely, it just feels so natural. When I first got my xbox360 I picked up the controller and pretty much went "omfg this controller is awesome"
I much prefer the position of the thumbsticks over that of the ps3 controller's as well.

The 360 controller is so much better for me, everything just seems to be in the right place. The PS controller, however, has been the bain of much gaming career ever since Ape Escape; the analogue sticks felt tacted on and never sat right with me. Get those analogue sticks off my controller you damned dirty apes!

My PS3 controller also fails due to the lack of rumble. It can make games better.

I received a wave of criticism for previously suggesting that the 360 controller is perfect, so I will qualify that statement now with "except for the D-pad, which blows goats."

I like the classic PS controller, sure, but the 360's is the best design to date, IMO.

I hate the PS3 triggers. They are, in my opinion, the worst aspect of the whole thing.

I also find the analog sticks to be more comfortable on the 360 controller.

In general the layout is just best fit, and easy access for all buttons when needed.

OT: I like the PS3 controller better than the 360 controller because, its smoother and easier layout, also the 360 controller is too bulky.

Ok, the PS3 triggers aren't great but I have no problem with them since most PS3 games use L1 to aim and R1 to shoot and that works out great IMO.

I don't like the 360's face buttons and it's D-pad is just plain horrible. To me, analog stick placement is fine on both, I do like the 360's inward dip on the sticks. However, I do feel the PS3's sticks are smoother (maybe just because I'm more used to them) than the 360 controller.

I actually dislike playing my ps3 because I can't stand the controller. But my 360's is an absolute dream to game with. Nothing to complain about whatsoever, not even the D Pad.

I personally prefer the Ps3 controller, the 360 controller is much too bulky for me to carry around, especially if I'm handling one with a battery pack on the back 'cause then my fingers start cramping up.
