Poll: PSN down. Worst thing about it?

The fact that I can't get my PC copy of Portal 2 until Sony fixes PSN is the worst part about the outage for me. I really wanted to see what Steam was like on the PS3 as well.

I have a lot of games on my PSP that I just download on there, and now I can't access all my games. Oh well, I still got my computer and Xbox so I don't care too much.

I chose "can't talk to friends" but I really meant can't game with friends. Any other time would be fine, but not on the long weekend when I get Portal 2!

the worst thing all my friends who only play ps3 have started up their Xbox which they haven't used for months and join party with me and ***** about how such a ps3 game is better than (insert Xbox exclusive game here its usually halo which they are comparing to killzone or gears being compared to uncharted) and I am sick of them complaining about paying for gold membership etc etc
I don't own a ps3 but god i hope they fix it soon

I can't download the patch for my brand new Bayonetta. This whole issue is just slightly annoying.

My copy of Portal 2 is currently in the mail, so I haven't even started the single player. The only thing that would suck is if I still played Need For Speed Hot Pursuit. Great game, but even the single player attempts to connect to the internet after every race. And when the internet is down, it's sloooooowwwww. But I finished that months ago. Again, barely touched the online. Once I got a PS3, I found out online didn't really interest me, even if it was free.

I voted other. The worst thing about it is Sony changing their story about why it's down daily. At this point, I see no reason to believe anything they ever say about any of their services or products again. Can't trust a company that's been lying daily for nearly a week.

May I suggest that the whining, speculation and news coverage is the worst part? I don't own a PS3 or care, so the fact PS3 owners are screwed is a total non-issue. Having said that, I'm seriously impressed that Sony managed to screw up so hugely that they had ONE piece of infrastructure controlling three regions, had no backup for this piece of infrastructure AND let it fail.

I hate the Playstation 3 with a passion, but the one sort of strong point is PSN.

It's free, the GUI is intuitive and there are lot's of free goodies.

Worst thing?

I'll go with the fact that there is no update to allow the best PS2 games to be played from disk.

I don't care at all, I only ever use my PS3 for exclusives and right now I'm not playing any games on the PS3 so it's not bothering me in the slightest.

Pretty much this. Unless theres a really good new exclusive out my PS3 tends to get sidelined for my 360. Haven't turned it on in about 2 weeks.

I laugh at the "I paid for services I can't use" when PSN is free. but no really, since playing online on PS3 has been horrible for me it does not effect me at all.

Playstation Plus is $50 a year. With PSN down u cant use it.

OT: Im just annoyed because I just bought a headset to play Portal 2 online and now I have to wait.

But seriously, I actually wanted to buy a game this week, since someone informed me that the PS1 Spyro games are there now. At least I'm not paying for PSN.
