Poll: Puppies or kittiens?

Kittens, for sure.

I love puppies and dogs but there is nothing more adorable than a sweet little inquisitive kitten. :3

My cat Oscar was an adorable kitten, pouncing on my fingers, fitting in the palm of my hand and curling up on my lap.

I miss him, he was killed by a bull terrier two weeks ago.

Twice today The Escapist managed to break my heart. In the same topic too. I'm sorry for your loss. My cat Charles died seven years ago. I never want to have another pet again.

When the little pups get abandoned in the wild and rescued for rehabilitation it's some peoples actual job to constantly cuddle and fluff up those little guys until the tests have been run and they can pass them off to a proper foster mother to raise. At the Monterey Bay aquarium in California for the pups sake they've learned to wear welding masks when working with them so the baby can't make eye contact and form a dependent bond with the human.

In terms of cuteness I could never choose, I just want to be swamped by a metric ton of kittens and puppies. Both will make my IQ drop by a 100 points when I get near either of them.

However, kittens are usually less loud (not necessarily more quiet though). Cats in general are easier to handle for me, it's an autism thing. Hence I'll go with kittens.

I'm sad for you . We almost lost out elder cat a few years ago. He needed to go to the vet but was very much against the idea, and decided to break out of his carry-cage just outside the vets and legged it (he is a robust cat). Spent three days walking around the allotments out the back of the vets calling for him (got bad sunburn and spent a number of hours wishing we'd given him a normal cat name). Finally came out of hiding around midnight of day three (was a Friday). So happy. Never driven a car with a free roaming cat in before. Difficult.

He's Aztec. It isn't a terrible name (he seems to like it), but I think after three days the allotmenters were pretty sick of it.

I'm not sure that I've ever seen a cat in that position, he kind of looks like he belongs at a rave.

I went with Puppies, but only because I have a kitten and hes driving me crazy. Hes up all night every night tearing through my apartment knocking stuff over, he also has this weird deal with pulling stuff out of cabinets and drawers. Last week he pulled a Nongshim Ramen cup out of the kitchen cabinet, tore it open and brought it to me like he wnated me to heat it up for him or something.

Next I walk in to find him rolling around the living room wrapped around a bottle of sushi vingear. This morning he, for once, ignored a roll of toilet paper I left out and instead pulled a roll of duct tape out of my tool drawer and tore it apart.

I don't understand cats.

I think he brought the ramen to you with the thought: "Yoo like these noms right? Here I already killeded it for yoo and everything!"

Kittens are like small children; they just love destroying things because they can.

Puppies ... particularly collies or kelpies, or a mix of those two. Also beagle puppies, but beagles always remain adorable, regardless.

I have a lovely cat, but kittens ... meh. I'm more of a dog person. A medium-large dog person at that. Cats are kind of boring.

Yeah, I understand. I have had both, so that's why I can't decide. xD

We still have our dog Chloe, but our cats have both passed.

Tommyboy went at age 17, and his sister Pumpkin went early last month at 23 years old. :/......... *Sigh* I miss them...
