Poll: Quake Live anyone

I have to make a preliminary confession in that my first experience with Quake III arena was by playing Jedi Outcast. I have followed QuakeLive since it first began a couple years ago, and found it to be fun despite connection issues, and lack of chrome support. I recently tried it and they resolved both of these issues.

Does anyone else on the escapist play Quakelive? if so what are your impressions?

I definitely liked it better than the original Quake III, the training modes are pretty neat, and the matchmaking looks good although I haven't played it a great deal.

It's way too barebones for my tastes, I'd rather play Halo or TF2.
Not to mention the people who have been playing quake for 20+ years.
