Quantity because if it's not too replayable, why spend too much money on it? But then again it is cheap, but I'd just get the whole SHEBANG with the Oarenge Box

Quality. What's the point of a long game if the entire experience is a harrowing exercise in boredom and frustration? Of course, both would be ideal, but given the choice I prefer shorter but well-crafted experiences. However, it's important for the price to match, though I don't evaluate price based solely on length.

uh. Quality obviously.

Who wants a whole lot of crap?

Here you can have a small filet mignon

or this giant pile of rotting maggots.

Quality, because a short but great game is better than a long and OK game.

I like there to be both, of course.

Did people actually vote 'Quantity'? Wow, I'm suprised.

Quality over quantity, my friends. Except in an RTS, where numbers are your friends.
uhmm no? Ever played rise of nations? 10 nukes > 200 tanks, just nuke the shit out of tour enemy's army and city's and then use 1-5 units to capture their city's!

Quality! Games that are supposed to be long-term fun like online shooters and MMO's don't quite catch me as much as a good single player FPS or a decent RPG.

While not appitising, the maggots are not at all 'rotting', infact quite lively.

Your Mignon will not fill my belly for one meal.

The maggots will go forth and multiply, producing much unplesant, but high protein, belly fulls.

If you could get a whole cow, then I would say thank you, and accept my copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy.

"Quantity is a quality all its own." Joseph Stalin

Don't compare me to him, but he does have a point.

Would you be more scared of 1 Eurofighter or 6,700 spitfires?

Well ideally I'd rather have both. However I'd like to point out that have too much quantity can kill the quality. I haven't played Portal myself, but I have considered getting it off Steam, I just got to be careful about my game purchases right now. Anyway, to reference Yahtzee's review of Portal, part of what made Portal great, according to Yahtzee, was that it was so short; it "didn't wear out it's welcome." I can't back this up, as I haven't played it yet as I already mentioned. I think it's important to balance quality and quantity and I imagine getting the perfect ratio is an incredible challenge for devs.

"Quantity has a quality all of its own."

I thought it was Lenin, but it could have been stalin.

My mistake it was stalin.

To put it this way, I would rather play a fun, 30 second game 240 times, than play a horrible game that lasts 20 hours.

I don't mind short games, so long as the price is right. Plus, grindfests are only good if the grinding is optional, avoidable, or only necessary for item or spell upgrades, not story missions. (like FFT or Disgaea).

Think of it this way; Would you rather have lots of ugly and unskilled sexual partners or one hot really good one?
I'd like to just have one in general...
