Poll: Quick question about Civilization Revolution

Just a quick question: why does this game have a reputation as being dumbed down for consoles? I picked up a copy of the DS version today (thank you K-mart for putting your DS games on clearance to make room for 3DS games; $10 was a great price for this), and I have to say, I'm enjoying it so far. It seems like Civ I with redone graphics and a few innovations from Civ II, which is just awesome for a DS game. I've seen a lot of people saying that it was dumbed down for consoles, and that if it's the only civ game you've played, then you haven't played a real one, but that doesn't seem to be the case to me.

Also, there's a poll; let's see who enjoyed it and who didn't, just for the heck of it.

I only played the 360 demo and found it quite enjoyable. I don't know what they removed or streamlined, but when I have more free time, I intend to play it.

it is an awesome game to be honest, sure it doesn't have the super HUD that the computer offers, but it is a damn fine game that works GREAT, i played the game to death and it might be the one game that i actually got 1000/1000 for on my xbox, and when i stopped playing i had 15000+ points...so just sayin.

They did a remarkable job in making it work on consoles, though I don't know about the DS version. I didn't even know there was a DS version until now.
