For me it's a case of CBA. If there was an incentive to change armor, like some benefits, I'd Change it, but the way the current system works, with the buffs, and the inventory, just... CBA

Lol no , im a man so aestetics mean little to me , i wear what is best , and strong. Mu GF though when she plays WoW , she actually will not wear a piece of equipment if it doesn't look pretty, or match with what she is wearing , even if it's stronger. I dont play games for Aestetics or graphix ( especially RPGS ) i play for story and gameplay ( mostly story ).

No, because it's a massive hassle to do so. I even walk around the imperial city in Dark Brotherhood regalia because it's a pain to switch.

I play dress up with my characters in all games that allow it,
I find variety to be nice in a game.
in games like

dead rising
red dead redemption
fallout
FF X-2

it's refreshing to be able to change apperance

allthough... saying you like playing dress up in FF X-2 is a little redundant considering that playing dress up is the main focus of that game.

I voted "other" because no, I don't keep two+ sets of clothes for my characters, but yes, I will often keep different types of armor around if they offer stat bonuses for different types of gameplay. I hate having a full inventory, though, so I tend to empty it out pretty regularly.

Yes I do, and I do that for all my RPGs...though usually only if I made a female character.

I carry three sets.

My Battle Armour, which is usually heavy, plated things.

My Sneaking Equipment, which is generally light, stealth-based... stuff.

And my Diplomacy outfit, which is generally whichever outfit I think looks the nicest without looking like I'm ready to go eat people.

No, I'm too lazy to change outfits, so instead of using the armor I just use whatever I think looks good even if it has bad stats, in some games this makes it more difficult.

Always have more than one. I always have my best armour, regardless of how it looks, then I may have one too look better in cutscenes or screenshots (I know, it's silly) or in Oblivion for example, I had an outfit that gave me a permant 100%+ chameleon for any sneaky thievery and murder - slashing a bandit repeatedly with a rusty dagger only to have him say it must have been the wind always makes me smile.

Oh yes.
In Oblivion, for example, I have my armour, city clothes, country clothes, fancy clothes, assassin clothes and mage clothes.
If something doesn't suit the current set for any of those, it goes. Even if it's better.

If clothes give special stat boosts, and I find myself needing those boosts...I'll carry as many different clothes as I can.

I only keep extra clothing for stat boosts - put on something that gives you +2 Luck in casinos, change into something that gives +5 science when hacking computers, and so on.

If I can build my stats while taking these boosts into account, I can make a more well-rounded character.

I change outfits constantly and will actively choose a lesser item for aesthetic appeal. Plus, I feel it is inappropriate in Fallout to wear anything but sexy nightwear in the bedroom, and a travesty to be caught without my swanky hats.
