I had lunch with a friend a while back and we both ordered burgers and fries. While we were eating I noticed he was putting his fries on the burger and I asked him why. He simply responded, "Because it makes the burger taste better." I tried it with mine and I felt that it made no difference. So as much as I thought it was pointless I see other people do it and I'm wondering if it's just a common thing, or an acquired taste.

I put my fries on my burger too.
It does taste a lot better.
Unless it's an In N' Out burger, then I'll eat it plain.

*shrugs* All depends on your tastes. I am the only person I know who despises tomato ketchup.
