Is there a scale of evil I don't know about?Because you seem to think certain companies are excluded from being amoral dickwads.
That's very dramatic and all, but I do you really consider questionable business practices to be evil? Questionable? Yes. Poor business decisions? Sure.

But evil? That's too over the top to be taken seriously. Not because (as you put it) "certain companies are excluded from being amoral dickwads" but because I see evil as something bigger and more damaging than being an "amoral dickwad". Look, did EA kill your mother? Did they dump oil in a wetland and ruin the ecosystem? Did they steal millions of dollars from individuals? You can hate them all you want, but the whole "evil" thing is absurd.

And if by "a scale of evil" you mean a ranking of moral behaviour (or of ethical business practices), then yes - of course there is. If that wasn't the case then every crime would carry the same punishment.

Mirror's Edge 2, BF4, and Battlefront 3 are going to be chances for redemption for EA.

All have massive potential, but all have many ways to be fucked in the ass by a greedy publisher.
