Poll: Recommend me RPG series.

Fellow escapists! I am in a desperate need for an advice from RPG aficionados. I played through a lot RPG's that are considered "classic" now, but theese two series somehow eluded my attention until now. Which series should I try, and which title in particular?

Well, I never got into it, but many would recommend the Mass Effect games. I, personally, could go on forever about the greatness of the Neverwinter Nights and Dragon Age games.
Essentially, look for something made by Bioware.

Of those two, since you're limiting us, I'll guess at Might & Magic, having played neither.

My personal favorite:

Might&Magic: Dark Messiah.

And it's not really Might&Magic. It's a first person RPG adventure. I just think the first person part is done very well as I at least actually felt like my character had a body, which was a rather cool experience.

But I actually doubt it's considered a classic. Still, I think it's a good game. Besides it probably has the creepiest spiders in any game... ever.

OP - Wizardry gets my vote, but try the Lands of Lore or Ultima games when you're done with that.

Because he didn't list fifty different games when the OP is just asking about two specific ones? Or because you happen to not like the ones he did mention?

Wizardry.

Once you're finished with the Sir-Tech games you should give the Japanese titles a try as well. That is, unless you mind anime-style character designs.

I have played neither titles, so ignore this if you want, this is a recommendation for simply another game. I saw the title "recommendations" and just thought the OP was open to all RPG titles.

It is a very great free game, and it is an old-style RPG, if you're looking for that.
