Before I begin, let me start by hilariously saying the captcha for my thread was 'mangina'.
A few quick questions:
1) I realize the Escapist probably isn't the best forum to be seeking advice on this topic so, if possible, can you direct me to a forum / website which gives advice on all things Multimedia?
2) I made a thread similar to this a while back but the problem has become a bit more complicated since then. Basically I'll be creating some sets / backgrounds and some basic animations for a play / dance recital for the school I work for. If possible I need to be able to create the following:
a) Animated spider webs that shoot from a point, land, and then spell various words.
b) Animated backdrops. While still pictures are doable I would prefer if the pictures (ie: a field) were dynamic. This means the grass slowly moving, a windmill turning, a sun slowly rising, etc.
Basically I'm looking for advice as to how to create these things and what programs would be suitable. Free-programs would be preferable but I know that isn't always possible.
As always, constructive criticism / advice only please, no trolling or hijacking.
